Two helpful additions to the UpLaunch Booking functionality!

We're still working on the primary feature for Release 19, which is a new-and-improved chatbot driven experience for new account on-boarding and for contact uploads.

But while we're chipping away at that, we wanted to take a few booking-related improvements live for you guys: Post-Booking Redirects and Future Booking Restrictions.

Part 1: Post-Booking Redirect

When creating or editing an appointment type, you'll now be able to enter a URL that the contact will be redirected to after a successful booking.

Not only does this let you create a customized "Thank You" experience, but it also lets you place a Facebook pixel on that page to track conversions (if you're so inclined).

NOTE: This is customizable by appointment type, and must be turned on/off for each appointment type accordingly.

To enable a booking redirect, simple create a new appointment or edit an existing one. You'll see an area on the form that's called Booking Redirect.

Initially, it will be disabled. Click the little switch on the left to turn it on.

You'll then be able to enter a URL for a redirect page.

NOTE: Please remember to enter the entire URL, including http:// and www (if applicable). The easiest way to do this is to visit the page in your web browser and then copy/paste the URL from the address bar.

Part 2: Future Booking Restrictions

We've had a number of requests for this one! The future booking restriction feature will allow you to choose how far in advance you would like people to be able to self-schedule.

NOTE: This is configurable by specific appointment type, and must be set up for each one.

To set this up, create a new appointment type or edit an existing one. You'll see an area called Restrict Future Booking Dates.

Again, it will be disabled by default. Click the switch to turn it on!

You'll then be able to enter a number of days in advance that you would like people to be able to book.

EXAMPLE: You can enter '2' for the future booking restriction. If today is Wednesday, we will let people book today, tomorrow, and Friday.

More releases coming next week! Please hit us up if you have any questions!
