What is a campaign task?

A campaign task is an automatically generated task from a campaign. 

The opposite of a campaign task is a manual task, which is generated by physically adding a task to a contact record.

How do I reassign a campaign task from the contact record?

If you have an active task, you'll see it right underneath the header of the page. It'll be green if it's not overdue yet, or red if it's overdue. 😬

Click the Task Actions button, which will open up a slide-out panel. 

From there, under the blue Actions button, there's a small link that says Reassign Task - that's what you're looking for.

NOTE: Only campaign tasks have the Reassign Task option. Manual tasks have an Edit Task option in its place, which allows more flexibility.

From there, you'll be presented with the ability to select the staff member, select a new due date, and add a note if you want to. That's it!

How do I reassign a campaign task from the tasks list page?

From the master tasks list page (accessed by clicking Tasks in the main menu), you'll see that each open task has a Task Actions button (just like the contact record)!

If you click the task actions button, it'll launch the same slide-out pictured above. From there, just click the Reassign Task button and you'll be good to go!
